Perspective & System Building

Self
For me, changing the world begins only where I have control — and not always even there: with myself. And this “only” — that other kind of aloneness — fills me with the feeling of being effective.

Self

My understanding of myself is not fixed. The past helps me understand what I have become today; and today’s understanding is part of what I build tomorrow.

System building starts here too: knowing my abilities, limits, desire for control, energy, resources and contradictions — not eliminating them.

Beginning

I say I’m allergic to unnecessary movement. Athletes call it laziness.

I want to change the world.

Being allergic to unnecessary movement — or lazy, if you prefer — and sincerely wanting to change the world makes me creative.

So I build systems to maximise impact with fewer resources.

Individual & Society

I don’t see the individual and society as two sides of a choice. A person uses systems built before them, and at the same time can add something to them.

For me, the question isn’t only whether a system can provide for me. It’s whether it can produce value that does not depend entirely on my presence, decisions or direct benefit.

Control & Independence

Building systems holds a contradiction for me: on one side, the desire to design and control; on the other, the necessity of letting go.

If everything still depends on me to continue, the system is not complete.

The aim is not to remove responsibility, but to build a structure in which others can take responsibility, grow, and even go beyond its original builder.

Energy

I don’t see more work as a value in itself.

My question is rather: what is really necessary? What can be removed? What can be handed over to a tool, a process or another person? And how can accumulated experience become a better starting point for the next move?
